Reveille

Nets 103  Thunder 99:  The Nets win their seventh straight overtime game at home.  The Nets win their seventh straight overtime game at home because of the rookie.  Because of  Brook Lopez.  Lopez had thirty-one big points last night.  Lopez had thirteen big boards last night.  Lopez had his first 30/10 game last night.  Awww, you broke your cherry.   The last Nets rookie to break his cherry was Keith Van Horn in 1997.  Now just remember, never rat on your friends…and always keep your mouth shut.

Oklahoma 78  Texas 63:   Blake Griffin.  That’s all you need to know.  Bobby Knight loves this kid.  So do I.  Before last night, the Sooners hadn’t beaten Texas in six tries.  That little run is over.  It’s gonna stay over with Blake Griffin around.  Twenty points, ten rebounds for a nation leading fourteenth double-double.  Blake Griffin is the next big thing in college basketball right now.  Soon to be the next big thing in the NBA draft.

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!
