NFL Playoff Sunday

And the battles just begun.  There’s many lost, but tell me who has won?  The trench is dug within our hearts.  And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart.  Sunday, bloody Sunday.  -U2

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go!  The NFL Playoffs.  Rematch weekend.  Jubileematch weekend.  Float like a butterfly sting like beematch weekend.  I am the greatest!  Who’s gonna be the greatest tomorrow?  Who’s gonna shake the world?   

Eagles v. Giants:  I’m going with the hot team.  The hot to trot team.  Out of nowhere, Cinderella story.  I’m going with the Eagles. 

Since the infamous benching in Baltimore, Donovan McNabb and the Eagles are 5-1.  They’ve given up a meager fifty points in the final five games of the regular season.  Since giving up 401 yards to the New York Football Giants mid-season, the Eagles held their final seven opponents to under 300 yards. In their rematch with the Giants, the Eagles held New York to a season-low 211 yards and became the only team to beat the Giants in Giants Stadium this season.  I say they’ll be the second to beat the Giants in Giant Stadium this season.

Steelers v. Chargers:  I don’t care what Darren Sproles did last week.  Not now.  Not against the Steelers.  Different animal.  Different James Harrison animal.  No LT, no shirt, no shoes, no dice.  This is what the Steelers are going to do the San Diego Super Chargers:
