I should have done this one yesterday. I didn’t. I’m doing it today. Arkansas just beat number seven ranked Texas the other night. They just beat number four ranked Oklahoma the other other night. They have extended their winning streak to ten games for the first time since the 1994-95 season. The Hogs head into the SEC season at 12-1. If they just split in league play, they hit the all-important twenty-win mark. They hit the all-important twenty-win mark, they’re going dancing. Look ma, I’m dancin’!
If they do go the dance, it’ll be because Michael Washington took ‘em there. Michael Washington’s a beast. The beast of the Southeast. A double-double machine. Double, double, toil and trouble. Something wicked this way comes!
Washington was just named SEC Player of the Week for the second time this season. He’s an ath-uh-lete. South Florida and ex-Arkansas coach Stan Heath says, not only is Washington the best ath-uh-lete he has ever coached, but also the best ath-uh-lete he has ever seen. And don’t forget, while at Michigan State as an assistant coach, it was Stan Heath who recruited and coached Zach Randolph. How about that?
How about this? The next time the rankings come out, Arkansas better gosh darn well be a on them. Got it? Good.
