Pistons 88  Clippers 87:  Just when you think you know the Answer, he changes the question.  Allen Iverson scored eighteen points last night.  Nice.  Nice enough.  You know what’s nicer?  This:  AI had ten dimes.  One dollar.  One dollar, straight cash, homey.   This was only the second time this season that Iverson notched a dollar in a game.  Think he’s adjusting to his new role?  Ya, me too. 

Wizards 80  Cavaliers 77:   Crab Dribble or no Crab Dribble, the Cavs can’t beat the Wiz.  Nobody beats the Wiz!  Everybody beats the Wiz.  Not the Cavs.  Bron Bron double-double or no Bron Bron double-double, the Cavs can’t beat the Wiz.  Nobody beats the Wiz!  Everybody beats the Wiz.  Not the Cavs.

Knicks 100  Celtics 88:  The Knicks defeated the Celtics at the World’s Most Famous Arena.  The Knicks just defeated the Celtics for their largest margin of victory in seven years against an opponent with the NBA’s best record.  Seven years!  The last time the Knicks posted a double-digit win against the NBA’s best team was back in ’02.  Pre Isiah.  Pre Larry Brown.  Pre nonsense.  They were still bad.  Last place bad.  But still.  My question is, is last night’s win a testament to how good they are now, or how bad they were then?  Discuss amongst yourselves.

Wild 2  Avalanche 0:   You know what the sad part is?  The sad part is, if you poll most of America, they don’t know a single soul on either of these two teams.  That’s the sad part.  If they’re reading this, at least they’ll know one.  They’ll know Owen Nolan.  Welcome back Owen.  Owen Nolan scored both goals in the Wild’s victory over the Avalanche.  That extends his goal-scoring streak to three games since returning on New Year’s Eve from a leg injury.  That’s pretty good.
