According to Ken Rosenthal it’s all but a done deal. According to Ian Browne, Penny would be happy to be reunited with Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell, two players he won a World Series championship with in 2003 with the Marlins. According to me, I like this move. Yes, Penny is coming off an injury-plagued 2008, but he did post back-to-back 16-win seasons with the Dodgers. More on this story if and when it comes to fruition.
