Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Listen, you know I’m a card carrying member of Red Sox Nation. A card my family has been carrying from generation to generation. I would never bash the administration, but words cannot describe my current level of frustration.

That big bat back that makes Big Papi’s big bat so much bigger. I didn’t get it. I didn’t get my wish. Just like Mouth. This was my dream, my wish… And it didn’t come true. So I’m taking it back. I’m taking them all back. The Yankees got their wish. The Yankees are getting a lot of wishes. They’re trying to take it all back.
I said it before, I’ll say it again, they meant what they said and they said what they meant. An elephant’s word one hundred percent. Hank Steinbrenner said wait until next year. Hank Steinbrenner wasn’t kidding. Hank Steinbrenner said, “This is going to get turned around. People get mad about the money. You can’t. Them’s the rules. The Yankees are doing everything in their power to stave off the embarrassment they endured last season. The embarrassment of not making the playoffs. The embarrassment of being outdone by the Red Sox. The embarrassment of being beaten at their own game. This is the new Money Ball. Big money ball. Folks say you can’t buy a championship. Folks say they don’t care too much for money. Folks say money can’t buy them love. As much as it pains me to say it, it appears that’s exactly what the Yankees are doing.

even after the 250 million dollar pitching additions, even after this signing of Teixera, I somehow expected a post filled with denial. A post where you say it doesnt matter, a post where you say the Sox can still take the East and return to the Series. Instead I get concession? This was like watching a junkie at an intervention admit they have a problem. I enjoyed it.
