Hooray Patriots!

Actions are the seeds of fate deeds that grow into destiny. -Harry S. Truman

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! You can’t ask for more than that. Just win baby! Taking care of business. Everyday. Taking care of business. Every way. The Patriots took care of business yesterday.

Last year, Tom Brady did some big things. Important things. Historical things. He never did this. Yesterday, the Patriots led 31-0 at the half of their 47-7 drubbing of the Arizona Cardinals. Last week the Pats held a 35-14 halftime lead in a victory over the Raiders. It’s the first time in team history that New England scored thirty or more first-half points in consecutive games, and the Patriots are the first team to do that since the Chiefs in October 2004. Right now, the Patriots are doing everything in their power to win this thing without the best quarterback whoever lived.

If the Jets beat the Dolphins, and the Patriots win, the Patriots would win the division. Hooray Patriots! If the Ravens lose, and the Dolphins win, the Patriots are in as a wild card with a victory. Hooray Patriots! But if the Dolphins win and the Ravens win, the Patriots would be shut out, no matter what they do. Boooo!

All they can do is win. At this point in time, Vince Lombardi couldn’t be more right. At this point in time, winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. Win next week against Buffalo. Win for all those people who called you cheaters. Win for those all people who said without Tom Brady, you couldn’t. Win for us. Win for yourselves. I implore you, just win baby!
