Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! I should have written about this earlier. I was just too livid earlier. I don’t even know who to be livid at. Boras? Teixeira? The Red Sox? All of them?
I understand these are hard economic times. I understand it’s tough all over. I understand “we all have limits.” I understand “eight years is a very long time in baseball and everywhere else.” I understand all that, I do, but did that stop the Yankees? This can’t be over. Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain’t over now. ‘Cause when the goin’ gets tough…the tough get goin’! Who’s with me? Let’s go!
