The other day I said, the Golden State Warriors were not playing a lick of defense. Not a sniff of defense. I said, I wouldn’t expect too much more defense anytime soon. I was right.
Saturday night, the San Antonio Spurs smashed the Wariors. Smashed ‘em real good like. The Warriors have now allowed 877 points over their last seven games. Yikes! Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say, that’s the most points allowed by an NBA team over any seven-game span since the Hornets allowed 881 over seven games in April 1992. Good luck Warriors fans, Grandmama and the 1992 Hornets finished with a 31-51 record. You’ll be lucky to get that.
