Golden State Warriors

I’ve had the blues, the reds and the pinks. One thing’s for sure, love stinks. -J. Geils Band

Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Warriors, come out and play-ay. Did you see it? Did you see the rout. Did you the rout I’m talking about. The Golden State Warriors just got crushed last night. Shellacked. Tattooed. Tattoed you’d. The plane, the plane!

It was bad enough Yao Ming scored nineteen of his season-high 33 points in the fourth quarter. It was bad enough Yao Ming became the first center to record a thirty-point, ten-rebound, five-assist game this season. Boris Badenov. But that ain’t the half of it.

While Yao was doing his thing and Ron Artest his, the Golden State Warriors were doing their’s. Doing it and doing it and doing it well. Too bad their thing is losing. Losing big. The Warriors lost to the Rockets by a score of 131-112 last night. Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say, that marks the third consecutive game that Golden State has allowed 130-or-more points. Not a lick of defense. Not a sniff of defense.

Not since the 1990-91 Denver Nuggets have we seen such little defense. The Michael Adams Nuggets. The Orlando Woolridge Nuggets. The Chris Jackson Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf Nuggets. Not since those guys there had three different streaks of three straight games allowing 130+ points, including a seven game streak to start that season have we seen such little defense. And I wouldn’t expect to much more defense anytime soon.

Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
