Listen, do you want to know a secret?  Do you promise not to tell, woh, woh, woh.  Closer, let me whisper in your ear.  Say the words you long to hear.  -Beatles

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Like my main man Jim Malone always says, “If you want to keep a secret,  don’t tell the boss.”  I don’t want to keep a secret.  You might me be caught up in your 10-2 World Champeen Celtics.  You might be caught up in your Red Sox hot stove heat.  You might be caught up in your Bradyless Bunch.  I am too.  But I’m still paying attention.  Time and time againtion.  Amention!

Amen to the Boston Bruins.  In case you haven’t noticed, the Big Bad Bruins have won six straight at home.  In case you haven’t noticed, the Big Bad Bruins have won seven of their last eight.  In case you haven’t noticed, the Big Bad Bruins have not lost in regulation season since October 30, in Calgary.  In case you haven’t noticed, the Big Bad Bruins are atop the Adams Division.  On top of the world looking down on creation.  How about that?

How about this?  How about Marc Savrad?  Last night against Let’s Go Buffalo, the B’s were behind 4-2 with 7:23 remaining in the first period.  Last night against Let’s Go Buffalo, the B’s scored five unanswered goals.  Last night against Let’s Go Buffalo, the B’s snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.  Marc Savard played a part in four of those victory snatching goals.  Yowza!   Played a part in four victory snatching goals to give him his 600th NHL point.  Hooray!  Hooray Marc Savard!

That’s not all.  Savard had one goal and three assists.  It was the sixth time that Savard scored at least four points in a game in his three seasons with Boston.  Big deal you say?  Who cares you say?  I say, since the start of the 2006-07 season, the only NHL players with more games of four-plus points than Savard are Sidney Crosby and Jarome Iginla.  I say that’s pretty good.  Pretty gosh darned good.  If Savard and the Bruins keep this up, Boston’s best kept secret won’t be a secret for long.

Public Spectacle:

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!
