Somebody save me. I don’t care how you do it. Come on. I’ve been waiting for you. -Smallville
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Hockey Krishnas rejoice! Hockey, hockey. Krishna, Krishna. Vancouver fans are rejoicing. Rejoicing over Roberto Luongo.
With Martin Brodeur on the mend, there is no question who is the best goalie in the NHL. It’s the guy in the middle of a three game shutout streak. It’s the guy with the record for most saves in a single season. It’s the guy moving in on another record. The Vancouver Canucks’ shutout record. It’s the guy on a current shutout streak of 201 minutes and eight seconds. Just two minutes twenty-six seconds shy of the record. His own record. A record that should fall tomorrow night at General Motors Place. And now, with defensemen Mattias Ohlund, Kevin Bieksa and Sami Salo healthy again, who knows how long this streak continues.
Public Spectacle:
Peace out homies. Six Two and Even!
Need More? NHL, Roberto Luongo, Vancouver Canucks
