Insane in the membrane. Going insane, got no brain! Insane in the membrane. Insane in the brain! -Cypress Hill
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Patrick Kane, number one pick in the draft. Patrick Kane, NHL Rookie of the Year. Patrick Kane, picking up where he left off.
Kane picked it up yesterday. Yesterday afternoon, the Chicago Blackhawks crushed the Calgary Flames. Crushed them I say. Yesterday afternoon, Patrick Kane buried a shot over Mikka Kiprusoff. Yesterday afternoon, Patrick Kane assisted on two more. Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say, that’s a three-point game. I say, that’s Kane’s fourth three-point game this season. I say that’s good for league best.
Coincidentally, the Blackhawks are in the midsts of a four game mini-streak. If Patrick Kane keeps playing the way he has, Chicago will streak right along into the post season. Kane isn’t quite 5-10, and he weighs less than 170. What he lacks in size, he more than makes up for with talent. He’s got handle. He creates space with the way he moves. His quickness enables him to hold off a defenseman for just that fraction of a second and then, gone. Ãndale! Ãndale! Arriba! Arriba! Speedy Gonzales style. Patrick Kane is so skilled with the puck and has got such drive, that’s he is just a joy to watch on the ice. With fellow second year man Jonathon Toews, the Blackhawks are going to be a joy to watch for some time to come.
Public Spectacle:
Peace out homies. Six Two and Even!
Need More? Chicago Blackhawks, NHL, Patrick Kane
