It takes two to make a thing go right. It takes two to make it outta sight. Hit it! -Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Rookie rookie, who gets the cookie? They both do. They’re both big winners. I’m gonna ask you a simple question and I want you to listen to me: who’s the big winner here tonight at the casino? Huh? The rookies, that’s who. The rookies are the big winners. The rookies win.
Sugar Ray Rice rumbled, bumbled and stumbled for 154 big yards rushing. Big Joe Flacco threw two big touchdown passes to Mark Clayton and Derrick Mason while passing for 248 big yards as the Ravens beat the Browns yesterday. Big deal you say? Who cares you say? I say, it was the first time in NFL history that rookies gained at least 150 yards rushing and 200 yards passing in a victory. How about that?
How about this? Two pairs of rookies have done it in a loss. Paul Robinson and Sam Wyche for the Bengals in 1968 did it in a loss. Barry Sanders and Rodney Peete for the Lions in 1989 did it in a loss. But the Ravens rookies are the first pair to do it in a win. And you know what the man says. The man says, “If winning isn’t everything, why do they keep score?” You better listen what the man says.
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!
Need More? Baltimore Ravens, Joe Flacco, NFL, Ray Rice
