Omar coming. -The Wire
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! You just can’t keep a good man down. Don’t look now folks, but here comes Ryan Howard. Here comes Ryan Howard with a vengeance. You know he led the majors with forty-eight home bombs this season. You know he had been homerless in forty-two at-bats in the postseason. Well, he ain’t homerless no more!
When Ryan Howard turned on a Matt Garza offspeed offering and sent it into the night, he ended his horrible drought. A drought only matched by one other player. A drought only matched by one Mr. Manny Ramirez. The only other player to have at least forty jacks in one season and then not hit one in at least forty at-bats in the postseason was Manny in 2004. You wanna know what else Manny did in 2004? Manny won the World Series MVP. How about that? Yes folks, it looks as if Ryan Howard has found his stroke, and you know what that spells? Sure you do. That spells bas news for the Rays. Saddle your ponies, you bet!
Public Spectacle:
Peace out homies. Six Two and Even!
Need More? MLB, Philadelphia Phillies, Ryan Howard
