You’re searching for good times. But just wait and see. You’ll come running back. You’ll come running back. You’ll come running back to me. -Rolling Stones
Public Service Announcement: Ok, here we go! Am I missing something? I just don’t get it. Romeo Crennel may believe Derek Anderson gives the Browns the best chance for a Monday night upset of the 4-0 reigning Super Bowl champions. I don’t. Not tonight. Not next week against Washington. Not ever.
How can I? Derek Anderson has been simply awful. How awful? Going into week six, Derek Anderson has the lowest passer rating in football among quarterbacks who have started every game this season. The lowest! Going into week six, Derek Anderson has the second lowest completion percentage among quarterbacks who have started every game this season. Egads man. You can’t win like that. Not against the New York Football Giants. Not against the Washington Redskins. Not against nobody.
Unless the Giants do to Derek Anderson like they did in the preseason, don’t expect to be seeing Brady Quinn anytime time soon. Because barring injury, it ain’t gonna happen. And that’s just a shame. It is a travesty. It’s a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham.
Quinn spent 15 weeks of his rookie year as Anderson’s backup and didn’t make his NFL debut until last season’s finale against San Francisco. He completed three of eight passes for forty-five yards and looked quite poised while running Cleveland’s offense. He threw only eight passes in ’07. Only five other first round quarterbacks threw fewer than ten passes their rookie season. Only Chad Pennington, JP Losman, Jason Campbell, Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers. But take heed Brady, eventually, all those cats became starters. If I’m a Browns fan, I hope that day comes sooner than later.
Peace out homies. Six two and Even!

Brady Quinn is apparently having his political views benched now. According to the liberal Washington Post has said Romeo Crennel violated the First Amendment and is Un-American. What the heck is going on here? Since when does a coach have to put up with dissent in his locker room.
Brady Quinn is more Hollywood than a QB! He appears to have changed to Mr. Hollywood instead of playing ball, but I never did see him as one of the finer draft picks, he’s not the greatest QB in the world, lets face it! It must be his pretty face!
