Stat Of The Day

Stat of the day, who will it be?  Your vote will hold the key.  It’s up to you.  Tell us who will be stat of the day.  -Community Auditions

Stat Of The Day:  The legend continues.  In Chase Utley’s first at bat of his career, he went long.  Real long.  Grand Slam long.  He hasn’t slowed down since.

Last night, Utley drove in his 100th run of the season.  Big deal you say?  Who cares you say?  I say, that gives him four consecutive 100-RBI seasons.  I say, that makes Utley only the third second baseman in major league history to have four straight 100-RBI seasons.  Yowza!  Utley joins everybody’s favorite player, Jeff Kent (6) and the Mechanical Man Charlie Gehringer (5) in the annals.

Peace out homies.  Six Two and Even!

Share the love baby!
