In fact, all this blogger backlash against him began when he became an asshole and started pimping the Patriots incessantly. He may have become famous because he was the Boston Sports Guy, but now he's just the Sports Guy. He writes on all sports (there's an article about tennis today), and despite what some fans think as a columnist's slight against their favorite teams, he is merely arguing all points.
