I had a friend was a big baseball player back in high school.  He could throw that speedball by you.  Make you look like a fool boy.  -Bruce Springsteen

Public Service Announcement:  Ok, here we go!  Well look who it is.  Look at Tim Lincecum.  We all knew he was gonna be good.  We all knew he had a blazing fastball.  An amazing fastball. A Rutherford B Hayesing fastball.  We also knew he had a knee buckling, mind bending, world beating Uncle Charlie too.  But we knew that about Todd Van PoppelWe knew that about Brien TaylorWe knew that about B.J. Wallace.  We knew that about a lot of folks.  This kid is different.

This kid is the real deal.  He is not only one of the best young pitchers in baseball, he is one of the best pitchers in baseball period.  He’s second in the National League in wins.  He’s second in the National League in ERA.  He’s tied for the National League lead in Ks.  Tim Lincecum was once named the top pitching prospect in the Giants organization.  Now, Tim Lincecum is named the Franchise.  Sharp cheddar, his rhymes are better.

Lincecum’s two-seam cheese has been clocked over 100 mph.  On average it’s clocked at 94.2 mph.  Only Dustin McGowan, Josh Becket, and King Felix throw harder.  How about that?

How about this?  His curveball is disgusting.  A curve ball’s what my pitch is.  So here I here I come like dum ditty dum.  I keep all five boroughs in stitches.  Keeping all five boroughs in stitches even more so now that he has found out how to control it.

The Giants are not a good ballclub.  They are not the worst either.  They would be if Lincecum wasn’t there.  Consider, Lincecum has seven of the twelve wins by Giants starters.  Consider, Lincecum has picked up the Giants all six times he has pitched after a loss.  Consider, he is 5-0 with a 2.45 ERA in those outings, and the Giants have won all six.  That my friends, what an ace looks like.  Ace is the place with the helpful hardware.  You know what else an ace looks like?  Huh?  Do ya?

He looks something like this:  12-0 in twenty career starts when receiving at least three runs of support.  Yowza!   Bengie Molina says, “He’s going to be a superstar for a long time.”  Bengie Molina is right.

Public Spectacle:

Peace out homies.  Six two and Even!

BallHype: hype it up!
